Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) is seeking professionals (Data Analyst) who can play a pivotal role in the election campaigns and participatory democracy. Data analytics has established itself as an essential aspect of political campaigns. In I-PAC, the Data Analytics team works on electoral analysis, survey analysis, behavioural analysis, and sentiment analysis to identify they key focus areas and improve the campaign efficiencies with data backed insights.   • Derive insights from electoral and demographic data using statistical techniques
  • Apply ML and AI modeling to gain actionable business insights and boost campaign productivity
  • Design algorithms to analyse public sentiment using information from digital platforms
  • Design algorithms to improve the accuracy of surveys and provide insights
  • Analyse unstructured data sets including reviewing data for completeness and consistency and make recommendations.
  • Manage analytics projects to extract and analyse data from multiple applications
  • Manage cross-functional teams and deliver on requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Keep track of industry best practices about data security and policies.
  • Drive data quality throughout the organization

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Engineering or equivalent analytical discipline from top tier institute
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data science and use of statistical methodologies
  • Minimum 2 years of developing machine learning including familiarity with techniques in clustering, regression, optimization, recommendation, neural networks, and other.
  • Minimum 2 years of strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience with data science and analytics tools, such as Python, R, Scala, Tableau, and PowerBI
  • Strong knowledge of the sampling, selection biases, and normalization techniques
  • Good communication and presentation skills to convey data to non-experts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding on consumer behaviours on web/mobile applications
  • Experience in sentiment and NLP using information from digital platforms
  • Experience in analysing electoral or survey datasets
