Qualifications

Fellowship
A consolidated monthly fellowship of Rs. 25,000/-
Age Limit
Maximum age of 35 years as of the last date of application receipt. Age relaxation is applicable as per Institute rules.
Project Duration
This position is purely temporary for one year and does not guarantee extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI.
Job Description
The selected candidate will be involved in the research project focused on “Materials and Catalytic Process for Fine and Specialty Chemicals from Marine and Biomass Resource.” The work will include the extraction and conversion of polysaccharides obtained from marine resources using catalytic methods. This will encompass catalyst synthesis, characterization, and process optimization to produce high-value chemicals from marine-derived polysaccharides, aligning with ongoing industrially relevant research efforts.
