Tenure: Position is contractual (10 months) subject to renewal based on performance and continuation of the project.
Your Challenge:
At CRY – Child Rights and You, you’ll be using your professional skills and experience to help restore to underprivileged Indian children their basic rights to – survival, development, protection and participation. CRY has a holistic approach to development based on the child rights framework with community empowerment as a key ingredient. CRY also places strong emphasis on networking with other NGOs and advocacy efforts to influence macro policies for children.
The role and responsibilities of this position:
- Managing project implementation plan and budget within given timeline
- Ensuring quality in overall implementation of the projects
- Monitoring and evaluating project progress and impact, and making necessary adjustments to ensure success
- Providing regular reports on project status to AGM and senior management and donor
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations
- Ensuring smooth utilization of budget, regular tracking and monitoring of utilization
- Ensure timely compilation, analysis and submission of quantitative, qualitative, narrative and financial reports to AGM and Senior management
- Any other activities as per the need of the organization
You:
You must be a Post – Graduate in Social Work, Sociology, Anthropology or Rural Development from a reputed institute. You must have Minimum 5 years of experience in development sector specifically project management. A strong written and oral communication skills is essential. Knowledge of the local language and experience of having worked with communities within the state of preference would be an added advantage. You should be willing to travel extensively
