Job Purpose:
Ensure materials meet quality standards and compliance requirements by preparing, updating, and reviewing specifications, SOPs, policies, and operating documents.
Key Responsibilities:
I. Document Preparation:
- Prepare and revise corporate documents like SOPs and analytical methods in coordination with site QC/QA.
- Review applicable pharmacopoeias and guidelines and make necessary updates.
- Review instrument calibration data in relation to operating documents.
II. Pharmacopeial Compliance:
- Review the latest pharmacopeial updates, supplements, and amendments to ensure compliance with current pharmacopoeias.
- Monitor and implement pharmacopeial updates promptly to prevent non-conformances.
- Communicate updates to relevant stakeholders and escalate non-conformances as needed.
III. Document Compliance:
- Review assigned documents using approved procedures and Cipla policies, ensuring quality compliance.
- Address queries and problems during document reviews to prevent delays.
IV. Document Issuance:
- Issue documents to applicable units and maintain records in the issuance log.
- Ensure the availability of current versions of common documents at the unit.
V. Standardization:
- Execute document harmonization and simplification processes to streamline procedures.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CFTs) and assess existing procedures for simplification.
- Provide suggestions for work simplification and process improvement.
Educational Qualification
M.Sc. or B. Pharma
Work Experience:
1-3 years in a pharmaceutical QC department
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Effective communication skills with clarity of thought and comprehension.
- Demonstrated potential for growth.
- Knowledge of job, product, technical aspects, and the pharmaceutical domain.
- Presentation and interpersonal skills if applicable.
- Managerial or people management skills.
- Safety awareness if applicable.
- Relevance of previous experience.
- Strong comprehension, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Focus on productivity and results, if applicable.
- Positive attitude and qualification fitment.
- Sales drive, if applicable.
